Is this much exercise enought to reduce my weight? |
I am almost 30 lbs overweight for my height and I am 23 yrs old female.I am tryign to reduce my weight.I ahve started doing elliptical for 30 mins(very low resistance - 2) and exercise bike for 30 mins(little hard resistance) and I stretch for 15 mins.Is this okay.Will I be able to reduce 10 lbs in one month if I do like this.ALso how many calories do I burn in my exercise bike for 30 mins cycling(that thing is not working) first of all, just exercising will not loss all that weight, u need to eat right too. i would try running daily, i seem to loss the most weight during track season and i can keep it off even when i stop running, i would just start with half a mile then work u way up to mile and half. u honestly don't need to do more then that. make sure u stretch. and doing sprints with help to. also doing crunches right after u stretch and after running with help u gain abs. over all u might not loss 10 lbs u might stay the same but ull find that u feel better and also look better to. Source(s): personnel experiance I think you POSSIBLY can lose 10 lbs in a month with that exercise. Just remember that in order to reach your goal you also have to eat healthy and avoid junk foods. P.S.- I think 30 min. on an exercise bike is about 200 cal. To lose weight you need to diet as well as exercise. If you continue to eat too much, you will get fitter and stronger, but you may not lose the weight you hope to. If you do that in a day as exercise then you are doing well in that department, but make sure you are eating right or you may not loose weight. Diet is most important, just so you know. Just start by drinking 7 glasses of water and try to eat less fatty foods, things with high protein are great. Chicken, Turkey. Another hint on a general note stop eating anything fried or any pop. Eat healthy continue exercising and I can guarantee you will loose your 10 pounds or very close to it in a month. Just remember no snacking, or if you do celery sticks, hmmm 0 calories. |
