Exercise at night? |
Hello! Ive been doing a lot of cardio to lose weight, doing bout 40minutes on the exercise bike a night. i can't do it in the mornings, if i was to do that i'd be getting up at 5am in the morning and i like to sleep until 7am. So im always doing exercise at night tho, as i have an office job i cant do it during the day. I know its better than nothing but will i still acheieve results? is it better to do it in the morning and if so, why? Listen, exercise is exercise and if you can't do it in the am then do it in the pm. You take in so many calories a day and exercise burns them off ( no matter when you do it ). You either must lower you calorie intake approx 500 cal per day to loose a lb.or burn off that many thru exercise. So, if you combine lower calories with exercise you loose and you tone. Also, if it didn't work at night how do all those health clubs sell memberships for people who exercise after work? Good luck its good You can exercise morning or night and it still is okay. Just don't exercise too close to bedtime. You will still get results. But it is better to exercise in the morning. Simply because it boosts your metabolism, gets your heart beating and your blood flowing when you exercise. This gives you more energy in the day. If you do it at night you will not get as rest full of a sleep as you may need. But I know a lot of people that cannot exercise till after work and do just fine. Night, day, does not matter. Just keep doing it. Strength builder for 21 years. Yep it's fine, your muscles are already slightly worked, so at least there is less chance of sprain. But if you work out too close to the time you want to fall asleep you may have to combat adrenaline. |
