If I ride on an exercise bike for 1 hour, the next 16 days, what kind of results will I see?
hard to answer, cause everyone is different and their body reacts to exercise differently...best thing do it and see what happens....you will def. feel the muscles in your legs... With no other changes, you could probably lose around 3 pounds. That depends on the level of resistance and speed. I would estimate you would burn 300-500 calories per hour. I would suggest you consider other forms of exercise as well. Try to incorporate some time on a treadmill or elliptical machine, walk outdoors, anything you enjoy. I recommend 5-6 days per week of cardio for 30-60 minutes. The more variety you can give your body as far as intensity and duration, the better overall condition your body will be in. Some days should be longer workouts at a moderate pace, while others more intense for a shorter duration. Also, if you add strength training for 2-3 days per week, you can expect to lose more weight than if you only did cardio.
