I need to exercise, I have equipment here at home. But don't use. How do I get motivated?



I have a treadmill, exercise bike, abdominal exerciser and a hip and thigh buster. I have used them, but not lately. I have become lazy. How do I get motivated? I cannot afford to go to a gym. I have noticed I am not as toned as I used to be. Any advice on how to motivated for exercise would help. Thanks!

If you're finding you're a couch potato, set your workout equipment up within view of the tv and pick a particular time ex. between 7-8 o'clock and exercise at that time every night or every second night whatever you decide your schedule should be. Keep in mind you won't see the results you're looking for with less than five days a week of working out.
MY ADVICE!! GO SHOPPING AND TRY SOME CLOTHS IF YOU SAY YOU ARE NOT TONED AS YOU USED TO BE THEN THE CLOTH WHICH YOU WILL TRY WONT LOOK PERFECTLY ON YOU !!! YOU WONT BUY ANYTHING AND WOULD BECOME UPSET FROM YOU FAT LOOK!!!

(AS A MATTER OF FACT IT ALWAYS WORK WITH ME, AFTER TRYING TO GO FOR SHOPPING AI LOOSE MINIMUM 5 KG AFTER DIETS AND EXERCISES)
Find a friend to work out with you and hold eachother accountable! Put some rockin' music to keep you motivated. On nice days you can walk together outside but on rainy days you'll have to fight over who gets to use the "dreadmill" (LOL) first, meanwhile the other can use the exercise bike. While one is working abs the other can do thighs, but I would also add some resistance to that routine for your upper body with either weights or bands. Keep it fun!
Dancing keeps you motivated. I like home exercising coz u can do what u want like dancing and with the equipment also. Self descipline!
Go to http://www.myvirtualmodel.com and make a virtual model of yourself at your ideal weight. Then print it out and put it places that you will see it to motivate you. Or do the opposite. Find a picture of yourself at your current or highest weight. You know, that picture that you can't stand because you think you look FAT. Then put it on your fridge. It helps me everytime I see it because I will rethink what I'm doing and opt for a healthier snack, and then I will usually get the motivation to work out. The "fat" picture worked best after I had already lost weight so I could look at it and think "I never want to be that person again." Or do like the yogurt commercial and find a swimsuit you want to fit into, and hang it where you'll see it everyday. Then you'll be motivated to work out so you'll look good in it! Good luck!
