What is the best exercise to start with if you haven't done much exercise in 3 months ? |
i'm not fat but my joints are feeling a bit sore. i had my second child 3 months ago by c-sec and i haven't been doing much besides seeing to my baby and other son, and laying around . i want to start exercising again but i have no idea where to start , and what to start with . i own a treadmill and an exercise bike and aerobics dvds that i used pre- baby . any ideas would be greatly appreciated, thanks The best starting workout is to start walking a few weeks, then jogging after that. Then you can proceed to more moderate excercises. just jog for 15 minutes everyday drink more water and eat less carbs The bike is nice and smooth and impact free, I would start there and move on to the treadmill and workout. Tai Chi and Chi Kung are great once youve learned em you can speed em up to get a great cardio and muscle exercise routine. Pilates (with a dvd) is awesome for toning and strengthening your muscles. You actually feel yourself getting stronger each time you work out. My favorite is "10 Minute Solution". Yes. The one thing you can do is involve the kids. There are many exercise programs out there that include children of all ages to do with their moms. The best exercise for these are the slow kind. You can do push-ups, curl-ups, yoga (it's also considered exercise) and jog for around 15 minutes. Do this for a while before you can start to really work it out. Try aerobics, and don't forget to make sure your kids are taken care of while you're gone. |
