I lift weights for around 30 mins and do around 100 push ups. Now I am only 13 so I am limited to equipment and I am too young to go to a gym. I dont have any fancy equipment, I simply have two 4.5 kg dumbells. I will be getting some more soon but my parents are a bit srict so not much heavier than 4.5 kgs. Would I get strong doing this, I mean I'm quiet skinny and bony except for my arms which are a bit muscley. Could you give me some suggestions? My dad has an exercise bike if that helps? 10 pts for best answer
hey not bad for a thirteen year old...im 17 and i do 350 a day, and play dance dance revolution to get rid of that layer of fat on ur tummy....its not bad to use that bike either cuz most of the body fat comes from the upper legs and mid body.....the bike would really raise ur heart levels and metabolism....try biking before u life ur 4.5 kg weights and after because ur body then begins to use body energy from the fat storage......plus playing some dance dance revolution is fun too.... good luck =] As long as you're doing the right dumbbell moves, then, yes. If you can do 100 push ups, try doing plyo push ups. When you push back up, you push as hard as you can so your hands leave the ground. And, an exercise bike is good for building the legs, so, yes, use it.
