Why do i get sicke evertime i exercise? |
Hey everyone... i am very confused, recently i am trying to be fit and so i bought an exercising bike, i am not overwight but like to lose afew pounds and tone up. i have one problem though, i cannot eat anything before i excersice because i feel sick and puke it all out, even when i am done exrcising, i drink plenty of water, but i dont feel hungry and if i do eat i feel sick and want to throw up. can anyone help please thank you Hey Sad Girl ....don't be sad. Before you exercise, take a Tums or other type of acid reducer. Don't drink while you're exercising. Drink eight ounces of water after exercising. If that doesn't work, check with an internist ....a doc who specializes in internal medicine. You may have a severe acidity problem and the doctor will certainly be able to remedy that. It could be that your really out of shape even though you arent really overweight. I have a friend thats like that, he has a weak heart and everytime he does cardio, he either throws up or is about to pass out. I'm the same way, so I eat hours before I exercise and usually nothing afterwards. I just drink a bunch of water. I'm the same exact way!! When I read up on it, some specialists say it's not advisable to eat at least 2hrs before working out - which is why really early in the morning or a few hours before dinner is ideal. If you eat before working out, the constant movement afterwards is enough to un-settle the stomach. It's like eating before going on a roller coaster ride...not a good idea! Also, not feeling hungry after a workout is a good thing! It means your body is burning up your fat reserves. The less fat your body stores, the healthier you are...and the slimmer you become!! You SHOULD drink water before, during (not too much! just a little), and after exercising. Water helps to keep up your metabolism up, while cleansing your body. As your skin releases toxins through sweat, drinking water replaces what is lost. Take it slowly. Don't try an overreach. Start with small exercises and build on them every couple of weeks or so. Exercising for just half an hour, three times a week is highly beneficial. Wait at least an hour after exercise before eating and don't eat anything for two hours prior. If you start to feel sick, stop. |
