Do exercise bikes really do anything?

Do exercise bikes really do anything?

Hi Fizz! Exercise bikes offer great cardio workouts and are an effective method of burning calories. Unlike treadmills they have no impact on your leg joints (which is the biggest complaint among treadmill owners). The exercise is done from a seated position, which by its nature takes strain off of the legs, normally allowing for longer workouts than a treadmill or elliptical. The cycling exercise is quite familiar to most people, making the user comfortable on the unit from the very start. If you're looking for a well built exercise bike with a lifetime warranty, I'd suggest the Endurance line. I hope that helps... Happy exercise bike hunting! Of course, if you pedal. Have you ever done a spinning class? Best work out I have ever had.
yeah, they are a form of cardio and help you to lose weight.
personal experience
i personally dont like exercise bikes because i feel like i dont get a real workout on them. treadmills are better in my opinion.
Yes, they turn on and the peddles move. Thats what they do, but some actually offer resistance with the intent the someone riding the bike can build leg muscles and burn calories
