Buying an electric scooter/moped/motorcycle? |
I'm on here because I've done some research myself but I still feel very stuck. I was looking at the EVT-4000 because of the speed it can reach, although the cost seems to be quite a lot. I wanted something around 1500 but can still reach speeds above 40km/h. I live in Toronto and want to find a dealer that will give me a good price for a good moped/scooter. Any suggestions?? There is a shop in downtown Toronto that sells electric scooters with a top speed of 30 km/h (the legal limit for ebikes in Ontario). There's a guy on youtube who's pretty much assembled an electric bike from various commercially available parts. He uses from 2 to 6 36v DeWalt nano lithium batteries for example, and a "low end" mountain bike. The links below should help you out. Probably the closest mopeds meeting your needs are from Skeuter. |
