Am i allowed a passenger on my scooter ? |
i have just got an electric scooter for my 15th birthday, i know that i'm allowed to ride it [you can from 14] but i was wondering if i am allowed to have a passenger on the back - it is fully road legal- the scooter goes 13mph on 'road mode' or 32 mph off 'road mode' please help me . . . it has 2 seats You are only allowed to have a passenger IF the scooter manufacturer says that it is designed for two.Read owners manual-if it says no passengers...duh...it's only designed for a driver.Although the police have not read your owners manual....they're not completely stupid. Nicole, it doesn't sound like it. Do you have a double seat or a single? Often this is indicative of how many people you can carry. This sounds like a fairly low energy scoot so I wouldn't load it down with extra weight. |

Don't worry about the voltage- that only matters when getting a charger or new battery pack. A couple years old is ok an... my answer is try to check it out first on auto repair shop.. ...NEVER hook up a brake light to stay on. Think about it: if the lights always on, how are the folks behind you going to know if your stopping? HMM? Besides, it'll run your battery down faster a... contact the manufacturer to see if they have an authorized dealer in your area ...no, with the price of gas this thing is more valuable than a phone. ... |
