Can you drive a electric scooter without a licence in the UK? |
Can you drive a electric scooter without a licence in the UK? no.. i used to have one but stopped coz some kid got 6 points on a license he didnt have yet!! If it's less than 250 kg in total, less than 250watts / 1/3 horsepower and has a max speed of 12 mph or less it counts as an electric bicycle and could be document free. NB it must meet the rules on brakes &c. yes i believe you can...i dont even think they need tax,mot or insurance...ill be back later to check up... |
