Rewire electric scooter lights??

i have an electric scooter, (see below), it has a brake light that only comes on when u brake, i want to wire it to stay on as long as the headlight is on.

when i ride at night im worried that someone will comeup too fast on me in a car, the headlights keeps the front visible, but the back is dark (unless u pull the brake)

i usually just leave 1 turn signal on blinking, so people see me

NEVER hook up a brake light to stay on. Think about it: if the lights always on, how are the folks behind you going to know if your stopping? HMM? Besides, it'll run your battery down faster as the brake filament requires more current than a taillight filament

Check the bulb to see if it's a dual filament bulb, if it is, replace it because the tailight side is burnt out. If not, buy a small clearance light from an auto parts store (a red LED is fine, it won't drain you battery as fast) and wire it to your headlight wiring.

Don't ride with a turn signal flashing continuously, you'll forget and turn the wrong way and someone will run you down. Who's fault will it be? Yours, for improper signalling for turn.

The rear light should stay on all the time with the headlight. Did you check the bulb? Any way, if it does not have a rear marker light and you really want the break light to stay on all the time, then look at the foot peddle, towards the rear of it there should be a switch that activates when the peddle is depressed. It should have two wires going into it. Cut these two wires and splice them together and the brake light will stay on all the time.

Check the bulb and see if it has two terminals on the base. If so, it is a dual filament bulb and is both a tail light and brake light. It it doesn't stay on with the headlamp try a new bulb. If it ISN'T a dual filament, add a light and wire it directly into the headlamp circuit.

Get a controller on ebay and the light you have bought shoud be wired up to a cap connection !! the controller will manage all lights, and indicators....
