Electric scooters - who has one and are they fun? I hope I didn't make a mistake but....?

I gave in to my 10 year old and bought him one for his birthday. They go 10 mph tops so I figure he can't do too much damage.

Oh yeah, that's for sure. He's not getting on it without the head/elbow/knee gear.

i have one.
it goes up to 20 mph.
it has a seat, turn signals, a horn, a headlight, a trunk.
its awesome.

i ablsolutely love it.
my friend has one too and we always ride to eachothers house (about three miles away) and to a local BP to get icecream and slushies.
