How to make my electric scooter go faster. Please help. Ten points to the first person who can help.? |
Well, yesterday, I bought a Razor E175 electric scooter. It is great, except for one thing. I doesn't really go that fast. Probably around 7 to 8 MPH, even though it says 10 on the box. Is there anyway I can get it to a higher mileage rate? I would like it to be like a 12 or 14 MPH speed or higher, if you cacn. Please help. Remember, ten points to the first person who gives a good answer. start looking at the type of motor and size of the gears, you might be able to go to a place like www.granger.com and find a bigger motor or different gears to change the ratios a little, just one thing to remember, if you change the gears it will take longer to get up to that faster speed, if you change the motor, it will probably eat up the battery faster, either way its got pros and cons, but good luck drive down a long hill. |
