Little electric scooters legal on sidewalks? |
You know those little electric scooters that go like 15 mph and 20 miles on a charge? Well, I live in Florida, and I don't think they are street legal, but are they sidewalk legal? I'm only a couple miles from school, and I'd rather take one of those than drag my car out everyday. Anyone know? I can't find anything about them on the Florida DMV website. THANKS! Don't need to know about safe, need to know about LEGAL. No you cannot ride them on sidewalks/footpath. Look about halfway down the link below and you will see. This is for mopeds and scooters in Florida. Sorry. In Florida I don't think it is illegal. Anyway, it is not a tickitable offense. dont live in Florida but i am sure its safe to use on a side walk with proper safety gear. ya u can use them in some places |
