I bought a Schwinn electric scooter from Walmart. How can I pimp it out? Do I need spinners on it?

I have already put a 28 v headlamp, 24v horn, 2 blinkers under the seat, & am thinking of adding an mp3 dock.

I need a way to amp the mp3 player, perhaps a 200 watt radio or something? Coupla 300 watt 6 in, short depth bass tubes on the sides with twin 100 w tweeters on handle bars?

It goes 15 mph for about 8 miles or so.

Do I need spinners? What can I do to make it the coolest ride in town?

P.S. I also added a large LCD Clock/alarm to it.

Whoa! horsey. Your adding more volts then the bike could carry. You'll get much lower mileage than you get now. What was the object in getting an electric bike, and a Schwinn at that? Use a wrist watch with an alarm, a hi-fidelity portable radio with ear plugs, and cut the weight down. It already has coolness for it is an electric for goodness sake.

Honestly, you are putting more into the scooter than the scooter costs! It's not really the coolest ride in town either, unless of course you live in a third-world nation, where it's technologically superior. You really want to make it kick-butt, then make it run for even longer. I don't know, maybe add a couple solar panels on the sides so it can recharge itself in the sunlight. Perhaps a couple small wind turbines that capture the energy of the ride to translate into energy to recharge it. If you add the system you plan, then you'll only sap the batteries at a far more increased rate. I think I must refer to my favorite proverb, "keep it simple stupid." You keep adding things you may find more problems with your ride then you can handle. I must commend you on the headlamp, horn and blinkers, all the more for safety. If you want a cool ride, buy a Harley or Segway. I mean, I can ride a bike at the same speed for more miles than you are getting. An I'm getting more exercise than you.

Go back to Wal Mart and buy more Chinese junk to put on it so we can support China Mart ...ugh I mean Wal Mart ....some more
