Help with my electric scooter( read discription)? |
i have a 500w izip electric scooter how do i get it to go faster other than lubricating it ? Drop it out of an airplane. Lets do some math. 1hp=750W So 500w/750W= 2/3hp. Without changing the hp (a different motor) you can only change the gearing. If you had higher gearing, you might have a higher top speed, and it will take longer to get there than it takes to get your present top speed.. Larger wheels would improve the top speed but kill acceleration and make hills a serious problem. You could also try to reduce the weight. get a long extension cord and plug your scooter in. then drive around with your scooter plugged in Get a heavier extension cord |
