Looking for the name of a type of personal transportation....? |
I'm not even sure what to call it really. My bf had been looking at buying an electric scooter because he has health problems and it's hard for him to get around. He was interested in the type that you can drive on the side of the road without a driver's license. Then one day a few weeks ago, I saw an older man driving this thing that looked like a little mini car for one person...and no, it's not one of those hybrid cars like a Smart Car. But it was enclosed with a hard top and he was not driving it on the road, he was on the sidewalk. Does anyone know where I could find out more info about these things....THANKS It's not a hoveround...they're power wheelchairs. This is an actual enclosed thing that you sit in and it's sort of tall and narrow. Looks kind of futuristic...... try hoveround. |

I agree. And these fattys get to use the handicap parking so they won't have to walk too far. The government helps them by giving them food stamps and putting them on disability.
