Christmas what I might Get my 11 year old.?

I am thinking about getting my 11 year old son , A Mp3 Player, Digital Camera and an Electric Scooter. Do you think this is to much or appropriate for him?

He already has a Wii, Ps2 and a Ds. so those out of the question.

mp3 player no. digital camera i dont think he needs it or will use it. electric scooter, he will love it. instread of the camera, get him a PSP

Why don't you round it off and get him his own credit card? That way he can join the ranks of the young and spoiled.

These days... No it's not too much. Last Christmas my 12 year old brother got a PS3 and a flat screen HD TV.

I think a Mp3 player is a little much for an 11 year old..How about a bike or some board games?..Basketball?

Wow! That's alot of high-end stuff. What about a good MP3 and a camera/printer bundle? The electric scooter is cool but I'm seeing SO MANY injuries coming through the E.R. from those things. My kids want one too, but I had to lay down the law. They all have great bikes and I feel that we all need the exercise anyway. Just make sure that he doesn't ride his bike with an Ipod on. (again, lots of E.R. traffic from that - and some tragic ones)

I think that's a lot. But if you can afford it then no problems. Just make sure he does chores and behaves from now til christmas. If not you're giving out the message that he can laze about and misbehave and still be spoilt at the end of the year.

Woah! that is a little much. i don't think he will want or use a digital camera, so get him a mini dvd player instead. I have to admit you are spoiling him, but that is how a lot of kids are these days

i think its good. its a bit much but this is the time of year you spoil your child! lol but make sure he understands the spirit of giving because i've seen many kids turn to brats when given a lot of presents! i would get him the ipod touch screen for $399, and the casio is a good camera along with a razor electric scooter! but make sure he has his input on this because he may not be ready for or not want some of these things! bring it up like say "i saw that new touch screen ipod it looks awesome! what do you think?" that would bring it up and he could tell you yeah it looks awesome i want it! good luck!

If you want to give him the camera don't get one too expensive. The scooter is good because that is most kids his age like. The Mp3 player is good for him only if he is responsible enough.

how about a little less with the electronics and a little more of the things he can use outdoors, get exercise and have fun at the same time...like, volleyball set-up, basketball goal, horse shoes, the scooter sounds good, skate board, bike, go-kart, 4 wheeler, tent- for camping out in the yard, things like that, to get him up and going.
