Disable a govenor on an electric bike? |
I just bought a Veloteq Commander electric bike and I want to do the right thing, sorta. It looks like a motorcycle and drivers expect it to act like one, but it only goes 20 mph with the electric govener on. I'm told it can go much faster without the govenor, but alas it is electrical and not mechanical. Any electrical people want to help me out? Leave it alone, the brakes on the bike are only good for the max speed of the bike. Changing the max speed of the bike with insufficient brakes could get you at best hurt, at worst dead. don't mess with the adjustments, if it was meant to go any faster it would |
