Are You Taking Public Transportation or Riding Your Bike to work?

Right now in Las Vegas gas is at $4.25 - $4.30 per gallon! I work for Fedex and Saturday I filled the truck and it cost over $125 dollars for the Diesel! My own car cost me $75 dollars and I felt like fainting! Then theres my Wifes Car and Groceries and Electric and Water and yada, yada, yada ... Is there no relief in sight?

I am in a rural area. No public transportation here. And it gets very hot very quickly here in Texas & NOT with high humidity as well!!! If I tried to bike to work I鈥檇 be dripping in sweat by the time I arrived!

There is a job just down the road from me I might take, & if I do, & if I can get early shifts, I will likely bike to work.

I have also thought about taking my bike in the back of the van so I can run errands on my bike while in town instead of driving from one store to another!

But exercise is a big factor as well as the cost of gas.

Holy Crap! Yeah, it's about the same price here in Chicago, just about a nickel less. I don't have a car anyway, so I'll be taking the bus to work.

I have never had a driver's licensce, so I have been using public transportation for years. Service is excellent 24 hours a day in San Francisco.

It only cost me a dollar to ride the bus and that gets you two transfers. I don't drive anymore and I sold my car.
