Whats the best dirt bike brand kawasaki, honda, yamaha, suzuki, or KTM? 2 stroke or 4 stroke?!?

im 5'3 5'4 150 lbs and im looking for a dirt bike....2 stroke or 4 stroke? and i want a fast bike that will last me and wont break down every 5 minutes.... WHATS THE BEST DIRT BIKE FOR ME!?!?!?!?!?!??!!??!

For reliability get a four stroke. The brand doesn't make much difference. All of the major motorcycle companies make excellent bikes. I would consider what dealers are near you and which of them has a good reputation in their service department.

are you still growing? because at 5'3" - 5'4" that is going to be somewhat difficult to fit you if you are still growing and still last you a long time (as you will outgrow it)...

with that said, your size right now is better suited for an expert or large wheel 85/100 2 stroke or a CRF150R but if still growing, you will out grow it before you wear the bike out...

typically speaking, the 4 stroke full on race bikes are pretty much the wave of the future, fairly reliable and will be faster than the rider can manage unless you are a professional...

all of the top 4 Japanese brands & KTM are pretty equal from all stand points other than price with the KTM being more expensive both up front and to maintain as the parts are quite high also.

get a 4 stroke if you don't know about engines.

2 strokes are less reliable and usually require engine rebuilds. (but loads of fun)

I don't think brand matters too much, but I'd get a KTM for off road if given the choice.

suzuki 2 stroke. sure you can buy a 4 poke. but it takes TWICE the cc's to compete against the 2 stroke. and weight restrictions on the 2 stoke so it doesnt weight to much less than the 4poke, thats how the 4 chokes can run with them.

ktm 2 stroke 4 stroke is junk and not as much fun its more expensive to rebuild i strongly believe 2 strokes will make a comeback and the 4 stroke will become obsolete
