Illinois dirt bike title info?

I purchased a dirt bike, but the guy i got it from never got the bike singed over to him. I am wondering how to go about getting the bike in my name, i know to go to the DMV. IF someone could explain the process it would be great. It is a illinois bike with a illinois title. oh and i have the title.

Did the guy you got it from sign the title?
If so, it's an extra form you'll have to get filled out (get it at the sec. of state office), also you or he will have to pay the title transfer fee for when he bought it. In other words, it'll be the title transfer fee times 2, plus the one extra form, which the guy you bought it from will have to sign as well, in order to get it in your name.

If he never signed it, you could sign it and take it in as if you bought directly from the person that's listed on the title now.

Either way is no big deal, one just costs twice as much as the other.
