Maybe a stupid question: Honda 100XR dirt bike...how do I get the old gas out? |
I asked before about my dirt bike not working, and people suggested that the gasoline is old and needs to be drained. Also, jets adjusted to lower altitude. (I bought the bike in 2003 in Colorado ~5000 ft; now live in CA at about 30 feet...last time started was 2005). there is a hose under the gas tank going to the carburator with a little metal clip hose clamp you have to take the tank off and pull the hose You suck it as if you are sucking a watermelon through a garden hose. pull the hose out from under the tank, ask a neighbor to borrow a truck and take it in for a full tune up 1 time, u really need to tune it up after 3 years of sitting with gunk buildup IM me I will give you some tricks to help you get it started and running well |
