What is a good beginner dirt bike for a 250lb 6ft 22 year old male.?

I am 22 and weigh about 250 and am 6ft tall. I am looking for a good beginner bike that I can have fun with and not get bored with. I have riden a quad before but never a dirt bike.

If you will be doing woods type riding a Honda CRF450X or Yamaha WR450F would be perfect. If you can find a used Honda XR400 it would be a great less expensive option.

If you are new at dirtbiking and using the clutch and all you probably dont want a 400 unless its like an xr400.
your best bet is probably a yz250f, or crf250R
(dont get any of the weak 250's like crf250F or TTR250 cus they won't pull you)

you dont want to get a bike that will chew you up and spit you out on your first ride. after you get used to it for a while and start hitting jumps, then you might consider a 400 or up.
I wouldn't suggest a 2 stroke untill you get some experience because two strokes take more maintenance and are harder to use a clutch on.

If you were looking for a quad, a Raptor 700 would be perfect for your size.
