Is a KTM 250XC-F 4 stroke good dirt bike for beginner? |
Im 20 and just lookign for my first dirt bike, never riden one before. Im about 6'1 and 150 lbs. I am very cordinated and pick up on things quickly. Does it have too much power, i mean 4 strokes have less power than 2, but is it still too much? I want a bike that has enough power that once i become better i dont have to buy a new bike. first off, now a days, two strokes are nothing compared too four strokes, a 250 is perfect. theres usally two kinds. theres a motocross versin and a trail bike verison. for a begginer get the trail bike v. it has way more then enough power. and you can ride it all year.. unlike the red sticker..also if you feel that the bike dosent have enough power in a couple years, put a new exhaust on, jet up the carb, maybe even a big bore kit. they even have mega header bombers for four strokes..it'll be a jet. go for it. any 4 stroke 250 will suite you just fine. .. perfect. your going to kill your self on that thing thats pretty big for a beginner. but good luck and hold on tight! According to your given information I think that bike will be good for you. Four strokes are better for learners because of their broad power band. The size will fit you fine and it is a fast bike. Just make sure you know someone that can teach how to ride and wear a full set of gear when riding to ensure your safety. Have fun. that looksperfectly fine for a beginner. You want to ideally use that for at least a year before movig to the bigger bikes if you are hasty. The harley davidson's are the best to go for as your ultimate bike Cutie Chris? I don't think you're man enough for a KTM. You should get an Orion 250. That'd fit you better. yes that should be fine. |
