What dirt bike would be best to begin with a 2 stroke or a 4 stroke im 5,4 and 150 pounds?

im looking to get an 85 2 stroke or a 125 4 stroke i was jus wondering wich one would fit me best. ive had some experience quading and dirtbiking and im 5 foot 4 im pretty much an beggener

I would say the 125 four stoke they are a lot less maintance and they have more tourqe.

if money is a problem then try a cr150, and if its a little to strong then try to grow into it, saves money. 2 strokes are faster but 4 strokes need less maintaining. my friends little brother is 14 and about 5'6'' and he rides a 250baja, his brother is a little bit taller but around 120lbs. and he rides a kx250 with all after market parts and has a FMF fatty on it...the bike for you depends on if you're going to have fun and ride it hard or be a wimp and not take the chance.

i have a ttr 125 with pro circuit t4 exhaust 14 tooth front sprocket and uni air filter. i can own 85's!!!!!

4 stroke for a beginner for sure

2 strokes are fading away. so id get like a honda 4 stroke

I would say a 4-stroke. Its more forgiving to learn on ; )
