Hoow do i descend down a steep dirt hill with my bike?

So i was riding today and it realy hard. I keep hitting my back brakes and my bike keeps skidding tel it like perpindicular with the slope. HSould i just not use the brakes and bomb it? its flat after the hill

Look far beyond what is right in front of you.

Your braking will be intuitive and will get better over time.
Best not to think about it too much, it's better your reflexive system tells you what to do.

just tap your brakes if you feel like your going to fast. If you feel comfortable, just go for it.
