How much do 125cc dirt bikes weight compaired to 250cc? |
im buying a bike and want a light one with good power Haha no, a 125cc does no have half the power of a 250cc dirtbike that is just the size of the cylinder bore, a 125cc weights about 170lbs give or take and a 250 weighs about 250lbs give or take. I had a 2003 Cr250 and an RM125, i enjoyed the rm125 a lot more. 125's are great bikes and a lot more fun to ride. If you are buying a used bike (early 2000's) i would go with a KX125 or RM125, but if you are buying a 2005-new buy a Yamaha YZ125. That's not very important because I've seen 50cc dirt bike's that I believed that are at least 150cc and they were driving good. My advice is to think about what you need, torque ore power... and chose between 2stroke and 4 stroke engines. 2 stroke engines are more aggressive but not very resistant because they work at higher rpm, meanwhile 4 stroke engines are not as crazy but they have more power and they are very resistant uhmm well, let see, it is half the power... so...... A modern 125 motocross bike tips the scales at just under 200 pounds. A 250 2 stroke is about 15 pounds heavier and a 250F about 20 pounds heavier. Of course this changes a little from bike to bike. |

Should be a simple matter of putting the nut back where it was. Is the wheel alighnent still good? You might need to reset it. ...you have it all wrong, green stickers mean your dirt bike meets the imission standards and can be ridden any time, while red stickers mean it doesnt quite meet the standerd but can be ridden ONLY d... 21 inch front , 17 or 18 inch rear. The wheel size is irrelevant for the size of teh rider. If you are really going to use it on dirt the 21 inch front is better. ...cubic capacity, ...ATV's ...Oh yeah. Whoo-hoo. I can hardly wait to have scabs on my elbows again. ...id say about 300-600 off of the xl80 depends how bad the person wants it and what kind of original condition its in does it have the lights? xls came street legal so headlight tail light blinkers... you can probaly sell the xl for 350$ and the crf chinese thing for 750$. look on craigslist and you can get a 125 for a grand ... |
