What does cc stand for on dirt bikes?

What does cc stand for on dirt bikes?

cubic capacity,

I think CC is either cylinder capacity, or cubic centietres. I think it's cylinder capacity, because cubic centimetres would be cm3, and i dont thik they would use that for measurement (but they might)

If you want to know, the higher the cc is, the more powerful the bike is. Usually, 125cc is a dirtbike or something light, and 250cc and over are usually racing (or super) bikes. usully, bikes on the road usualy have something like 500cc at max, i think.

Caos is a tad out of touch with bike engine sizes!
1800cc Goldwing grab you? My Dad had a 1000cc Viny 40 years ago!
I have an 1150 and it is not big by today's standards, that's the bike!
CC?
Yep Cup Cake
Cubic Centimetres
Cubic Capacity
Cloth Cap
Cow Clap ( The stuff on the roads left by dumb farmers and cows!
CISSING COUSINS Maybe not.
It is the total volume of the engine's combustion chamber, the bit where the piston/s go up and down, namely inside the the cylinder/s.Height times width.
Imagine a round cocoa tin, measure the width and height of the inside, this is the cubic capacity or volumetric space. Cocoa tins are not as fast as motorbikes though!
Should I ask this, how big is yours?

ccccccubic cccccccapacity, now all go back to school & get a coco tin & make a model, there now wasnt that easy,

cc stands for cubic centimeters. It determines the engine size, as it is the measure of the cylinder displacement. For example, a small bike may only have an 80 or 100 cc motor, where as a large "dresser" can be as large as 1800 cc.

cubic capacity, its the displacement of air by the piston , capacity.

cc = cubic centimeters

1 cc = 1 mL = 0.001 L

1000 cc = 1000 mL = 1 L

The volume of the combustion chamber(s) in the engine (which would be the cylinders).

The same thing it stands for on any other motorcycle, or car, or anything else measuring volume, cubic centimetres

It is the area in the cylinder displacement. cc is cubic centimeters.

cubic centimeters (it's the displacement or volume of the combustion chamber)

Cubic Centimeters

cubic centimeters the size of the engine

it Stands for CUBIC Centemeters

crazy cycling no cubic cm.

cubic cenemeters

cup cake

Yep.......what Mr. Mark says.
