How fast does 70cc dirt bikes go?

I need to find out because i'm looking at this new dirtbike and i want to know how fast it goes first.

hmm 70cc dirt bike... i dont remember any of the main manufactures making any 70cc bikes so its most likely chineese so using crap mass produced parts that will brake fast. So 70cc dirt bike MAY hit 55

40/50mph but if your asking this question you dont have much experience and to say the least you shouldnt be concerned with top speed without getting the hang of things .. you shouldnt be trying to go as fast as it can go ...... get a feel of the bike not trying to say you cant ride or bash you or anything but .. everyone has to start out somewhere and learn how to ride good its not somthing that is just there respect the bike but dont be afraid of it otherwise you will end up hurt .. torque at low speeds will be more important on a dirtbike then top speed .. .. either way as long as you keep the engine in its powerband a 70 even with 300lbs on it will get you up the steepest hill offroad not saying from a dead stop but if you crack it wide open 5ft before the hill in first gear .. its going to make it up as long as you can keep traction and not flip over backwards

Well with a bike that small your speed will be affected by your body size and the components on the bike. I'm 6'7 220 and had a 80cc dirtbike for a fun toy and i could easily get it to go 50 + km/h on the road but i am heavier then some people. If your buying this as a fun toy, you will grow out of it and want a bigger one, but if this bike is for a younger child then they will have some fun on it for a while.
