Dirt bike birthday party?

my son will be one year old in may.
i am having a big birthday party for him.
his daddy is a big dirt bike guy...
and i'm sure he'll grow up to love them too.
so i want to have a dirt bike themed party.
i'm having a hard time finding good decor. and party things though.
any ideas?
or any other themes that might be good?!
thanks you!!

I planned a dirt bike party for my nephew, and had trouble finding stuff too. Try black and white checked table covers, balloons, and banners (oriental trading company did have some) and mix it with his (or your) favorite color and then buy some toy dirt bikes (check out the dollar stores) to put on the cake or on the tables. You can print out clip art to decorate with or draw your own. Also for a cake, if you search images of dirt bike cakes on the Internet you can get some great ideas on making one. Have fun with it!

I know I saw a cake at walmart that was like dirt themed and you could just put dirt bikes on them. I would have some dirt pudding you know the kind that you crunch up oreos and on top and put gummy worms in it. I bet he would love that. Just be careful with the worms. Maybe you could find some cool gifts that are bikes or even a ride on that is a bike. One year olds you don't have to do too much with cause they are still little but I bet he would just getting messy.

He is only one year old. I think you should keep that theme until he is older, then maybe he will appreciate it more.. Do something for the kids, not because your husband likes it..

I think it is a cute idea. However, one is a bit young for that theme. Because it is a cute idea you may want to save it for next year when he can really get into it.

If you do go with a dirt bike them this year then you could use the recipe for "worms in dirt" (chocolate pudding and chocolate cookie crumbs) but instead of gummy worms buy little hot wheels bikes to put on top. Not sure about decorations though. Maybe cut out pictures from a dirt bike magazine?
