i have a 1998 yamaha yz 80 but the front brake lever is broken off so i bought a new one to replace it and while trying to replace it i found it difucult to detach the lever for the brake cable even with the pin out. any help plz Are you sure your not messing with the clutch? A 98 yz has disc brakes?? you have to detach the cable at the brake and give it some slack in order to clip it back on. try the motorcycles forum....guardrailjim is great there.... the Yamaha has a tight fit with thier front brake levers, plus dirt and grime can get in there and make a mess of things too...... The best advice i can give you is.....Re-post your question (Cars & Transportation - Motorcycles), You will get more informative answers there. |

There are a ton of people who just take the little 50cc dirtbikes and add tons of after market stuff to make them what they want.
