Best dirt jump bike not exceeding 拢550?

Need a dirt jump bike under 拢550 that isn't the Specialized P2 cromo '08. Because
a) It was my previous bike that got stolen and
b) My friend has the same bike.
I need a bike with gears (not over 9) and it has to be a hardtail.

Other than that, the STP and the Komodo are really the best for what you want to do. If this is going to be dirtjump ONLY, do with the STP if you can find a good deal on one (I would save up a bit more money because the STP is a REALLY good bike. It has perfect geometry for dirtjumps). If you will be riding it on trails, etc...buy the Komodo.

EDIT:The DMRs are also good if you can find a good deal...they're usually a bit expensive.

hey i have a diamondback groove 06 n i do a lot of dirt jumpin and DH (down hill if you didnt know) around ireland and it amazing i love it and not many people have it i have not seen any one on one its a hrd tail and it only haz 24 gears and i got it 4 拢359 the second day in came out so it will be a lot cheaper
