I have a kawasaki kdx 80 it starts fine but it idles high then back to normal then super high and does not like to come down then. The bike is older. I am a car mechanic not a bike mechanic. Please help give me all the possible answers you can Thanks
My first guess is an intake leak. The gasket between the carb and the engine is probably broken,cracked, or just worn out. This is the first place to check.
Check the carborater, and did you every take any major part off and put them back on, because certain parts on dirt bike engines have to be torqued right when put on. bring it in to a shop before it self destructs. lol
