Which is the best dirt bike for me?? |
I'm just getting back into riding and looking to do some on the weekends. What would be the best bike for me. Not looking to race or anything like that. Depends where you are riding and how big you are. I had a KX125, and it was great. I rode on mountain bike trails and powerlines. I had no problems handling it, so I thought a 250 would be no problem either. I sold it, and bought a KDX220. It was a little bigger and heaver, but had more power and was more of a trail bike as opposed to a motocross, so I figured there would be no problem handling it. But it was just too heavy for me. I could handle it going fast on straightaways, but going slow on narrow trails around trees was a problem. I'm 6' tall, but I only weigh about 150. If you're getting back into it and not riding all the time, I would recommend a 125 or 250F. here's a link to them on ebay. http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-1751-2... check out the on/off road bikes, they are fun, plus if you are being chased by the cops you can go off road to get away. been there, done that. Honda xr 250 or 400. Suzuki drz 250 or 400, easy to maintain reliable parts are cheep and they don't break when you drop them.. 38 years of riding and racing |
