How much fuel would a dirt bike rider use in a day of riding trails?

This is assuming an average of a 180cc engine (medium-type bike). Also, it might depend on how long an average rider might stay out on the trails (3 hours?).

2.1 gal tank on my 450 4stroke will be gone in roughly 2:30 at race speed through woods and some 45 mph short straight aways

Is it a 4 stroke or a 2 stroke.. 2 strokes use alot more gas..
I could ride a 100cc bike all afternoon about five hours and come home on reserve.
That's a small engine! I'm a 165 lb engine myself, and I'd probably say about 5,000 Calories would be sufficient for an all day bicycle trip.
i have a 230 and i can go on over a 30+ mile ride and still have quite a bit of gas left in the tank, u just fill it up before a ride and you shouldn't run out

You might get some better answers if you tried asking motor bike riders not cyclists. Our engines use bananas not dinosaur essence.
