Should I get a New Dirt bike? Like a kawi 100. as I am a Small Framed Lady.? |
I want to be able to jump as my first Bike was a Honda xr 200 and well I jumped it and broke my wrist. It's to heavy and no suspenion. Welcome to the club hon! I ride YZ's. If you like the four stroke engine look into the CRF 250. If the bike is to tall for you then check out any of the 80's or 100's. You didn't mention if you had ever ridden a two stroke or not? I guess the RM is pretty easy to ride and the power band isn't to pipey? Honda also makes the CRF 230 now with more suspension than the older XR200's. But if your jumping and breaking bones, then I would recommend you steer toward a real moto-cross bike. For me I still like the two strokes. Their easy to maintain but then again I've never owned one of the newer four strokes either. Good luck. I think you have picked a good bike with the Kawasaki 100. You say you are small framed, but if you can fit a 125, I would go that route. There is not much difference in size or weight, but you get more power and better aftermarket parts support. Chuck. Life experience. kawa klr 250 or a good jap 125, suspension tech has come a long way my friend had an xr200,awsome bike for off-road,but diffently not for jumping,it sucked. If your a smaller person, go with an 85cc 2 stroke racer,they would fit u just right,but be ready for a powerful little bike. i race um for a living |
