Honda 70 dirt bike won't shift into gear. in neutral, 2001 automatic. Help?

It sounds like the shifter mechanism (pawl, spring, and detent) has come undone, unhooked, or misaligned. The only thing you can do now is inspect it. You will have to remove the right side engine cover. To get a good look you may also have to remove the clutch and primary gear (you'll need a special socket). Other than that the parts probably won't be many or expensive.
