What dirt bike should i get???

im 16, 5'5, weigh 120lb. and have NO ridint experience. What dirtbike should i get???? i want to get the dirtbike which i will have the most fun with ill be doing a lot of jumps b/c thats all there is around my house and a trail or 2,,,so uhhh yeah please help me out, thnx

It depends a lot on how aggressive you plan to ride. The CRF230 is a great bike (just sold one several months ago) but you can't do any real jumping on it. It is a heavy bike with bad suspension but also very fun to trail ride. You can add the BBR stiffer springs but you still have crappy suspension, just stiffer crappy suspension. If you plan to ride on an MX track and do a lot of jumping you will need to go with a MX bike like the CRF250R or a serious woods bike like the CRF250X. Either of these bikes will seem a little tall at first but you'll get used to it. I don't reccommend a 125 for a beginner because the power delivery is much harder to get used to than on a 250 4 stroke. The 125 is cheaper however, so if cost is an issue you could go with the 125. It will be harder to learn on the 125 since it needs to be ridden at a higher RPM than a 250F, but again you'll get used to it eventually. If you go with a 125 I would stick with the YZ 125. So here are all of the possible bikes for you in my opinion. Honda CRF250R, CRF250X, Yamaha YZ250F, YZ125, WR250F, Suzuki RM-Z250, Kawasaki KX250F, KTM SX-F250, XC-F250.

Purchase a Suzuki 125cc or 185cc....... you won't be disappointed......... I have rode both....

I'd get a honda myself. Get a 230 you'll like it. Honda's last forever too.
If you want to do jumps and things like that I'd check out a Yamaha YZ125. I am a trail rider and have a 2004 Yamaha TT-R 125LE and love it. Not a thing has gone wrong with it. And it is NOT for sale so don't even ask.
