What would cause a dirt bike too lock up?But roll freely in nuetral!?

The piston has "siezed" meaning it will have to be rebored and new piston and rings installed. CAUSES:

1. old gas. always run fresh gas.

2. overheating engine. never run on flat tire or tow another atv.

3. wrong jet in carb. better to have a rich mixture than lean

3. sustained high rpm running. (racing)
