What is the best dirt bike out of honda or yahama? |
first one and was thanking about a 125 or 150 something like that Yam's usually outperform but need more repair. They're a pleasure to work on. The only Honda I prefer is the 99 - 2005 cr250r. (2 stroke). If I was buying new I'd get a Yam for sure. The honda 4 stroke mx bikes have been splitting their valve seats and cost major $$$ to repair. Both companies are renown for excellent design and manufacture. Their small bikes ( 125 and 150 CC) are very comparable. The choice is usually made on which dealer gives you the best service, best deal or is conveniently located. In my humble experience, (Twenty five years semi-pro class) Yamaha is more likely to try new innovations and therefore gain a competitive edge. While Honda is definitely respected for its dedication to reliability. Honda is the leader in engine design and reliabilty. Yamaha is a world leader in manufacturing, not just motors, but a myriad of different products. Yamaha has a wider base of engineering disciplines to draw from, but Honda has the advantage of specialization. They both make good, fast bikes. Your decision should be based on the deal, the dealer and its reputation. Be safe! Have fun. Good luck! crf 150 Honda would be my first choice then the ttr 125 Yamaha. either bike would be a good first bike 38 years riding and racing HONDA!!!!!!!! I'M A GRADUATE OF MMI HONTECH PROGRAM,AND RIDE HONDAS ONLY!!! |
