Whats wrong with a dirt bike that starts up but you have to keep giving it gas to keep it started?


it will only stay started if i give it gas.

Well, if it's a dirt bike, it'll need gas. Sorry, that's life, bud.
mine does that i have a honda 100 but its just a p.o.s. and its fun tho
some problem with the fuel if posible leave only a little amount of fuel and refill when you start i think my mates had same problem with his
first adjust idle, if that doesnt fix you might have to clean your carb out. Also make sure you are not using old gas. You also might need to see if your spark plug is firing properly.
Check your spark plugs /carburetor/clutch. Just a suggestion.
not getting enough gas,,turn up the idle screw on the carb.
nuthin is wrong my friends bike is almost brand new and he has to do that
i personally like ATVs
ps my friend let me ride his dirt bike and i almost hit a tree
