Can you ride your dirt bike on a feild in ireland or can it be taken? if the person who owns the field gives you permission to use your bike there then the answer is no they cant If the field is privately owned, and you have the owner's permission, and are not causing a nuisance in any way (not causing a lot of noise near somebody's house) then you should be OK. However, if you don't have the land owner's permission, or are creating noise that could be upsetting someone, or the land is publicly owned, then you could be committing an offence. In the US if your dirt bike is registered (license plate-no insurance) the police cannot take your vehicle for riding on private property, or public roads. All they can do is give you a ticket (summons) and tell you to turn off your bike and get lost LOL Check the law with your department of motor vehicles (I'm sorry, I don't know what you guys call it). you def need it to be private land and with permission, otherwise killjoy copper will be having fun, your best best is ask any local farmers if they have fallow (crop rested) fields you can use. they tend to be away from residential areas and usually they wil work something out USA peace officers can impound your vehicle for several reasons. If you have no license. If you have no vehicle insurance. If vehicle is suspected of property damage. If vehicle is suspected of illicit activity. If operator has no permission to operate vehicle from owner. If operator has no permission from land owner to operate vehicle atop same. If operator by age or action is deemed unfit to safely operate vehicle. Yes, impound expenses are high. Vehicle release occurs after legal hearing. |
