Is the Razor electric dirt bike (MX500) okay for a 9 year old boy? |
Is the Razor electric dirt bike (MX500) okay for a 9 year old boy? No hes to young to understand when to stop and when he is going to fast but i say you could give it a try and see how he does but make him wear a full face helmet and arm and elbow pads and knee pads and log pants if you want him to learn how to ride it at this age No, because the 9 year old will get hurt and u will be the person responsibe. Plus u also need a license and the kid will be arrested I wouldn't I would get him something smaller. I'm assuming that it's a small bike, like their other "pocket" bikes, if so, yes, that would be ok. He must ride it in a safe area (obviously) with adult supervision........there are a lot of 9 yr. olds that ride 65 and 85cc motocross bikes, and they are rockets, they are 2 stroke gasoline motors which produce 15 to 25 horses..aproximately. P.S. make sure he wears protective gear such as helmet, boots and gloves I just seen the mx500 and that is perfectly fine, actually, he will probably tire of it quickly after he masters it, the other answers probably think it's a bigger bike because of the "mx500" name. P.S. still use the precautions that I mentioned. Happy riding. I would say "yes" IF your kid can listen to instruction and is cautious and willing to go slow at first. I learned to ride when I was 10 on a bike bigger and more powerful than the razor. gotta start somewhere. My kids started on a susuki 50cc now my 9 year old rides a KTM65 and my 12 year old rides a KX80. |
