In most polls conducted the Yamaha YZ250 or Honda CRF450 generally win. It depends on what kind of riding you plan to be doing. If you are going for motocross then definitely go for the yamaha YZ250, YZ250-F, or the YZ450-F. If you are wanting do go enduro or hare scramble get a Yamaha WR250 or 450, and any KTM. If you are just wanting to put around on dirt roads or on the trail get a Yamaha TT-R 230 or a Honda CRF230-F. I Prefer yamaha's though, considering that's what i've always owned. They are reasonably priced, parts are cheaper than all of the other manufacturers and the engines don't have nearly as many problems/recalls. CR 500... Honda in general... |
