Whats the diff b2ween a pit bike and a dirt bike? There is no true definition of a pit bike. Most bikes that are considered pitbikes are either just small dirt bikes, 150cc or less air cooled, or the custom pitbikes made by companies like Sikk, SDG, etc. When you get into the bigger sanctioned pit bike races the bikes must have a 10" or 12" rear wheel. A "pit bike" is a bike people might take with them when they go to the race track as participants and stay in the pits for the weekend. They use the "pit bike" as transportation to get around in the pits for the weekend. Usually it's a small bike that is easily transported, does not have to go fast, needs to start and run well and be reliable. dirt bike is a lot bigger and pit bikes are smaller ebay.com just type in both and you will see wat i mean |
