What is a good dirt bike for a 170 lbs. man?

a website and details would help a lot

Since you are asking this question it is safe to assume you are a beginner. There are going to be several different bikes to fit your needs. A 4-stroke 250cc would be a great starting point for you. That will be a standard motocross bike. It can be used for track and trail. You could also get a dual-sport bike that can be used on-road and off. Another option woluld be a trail bike that is engineered for specifically for trails. They can be ridden on tracks but have less suspension movement and different handling characteristics.

You need to figure out what kind of riding you will be doing and get a bike that fits your needs. If you want to ride to and from work and then ride a few trails on the weekend a dual-sport might be right. If you want track riding only then go with a motocross bike. You have many options.

Checkout Dirtrider.com, Transworld Motocross.com, or even the manufacturers sites. The dirt magazines usually have reviews of current bikes. The manufacturers sites will help you get an idea of what bike you shguld look for.

Good Luck
