I have a honda cr125 dirt bike with no spark,disconnected the kill switch still no spark now what? |
I have a honda cr125 dirt bike with no spark,disconnected the kill switch still no spark now what? check coil is grounded is kill switch used to short ign as in lawn mower or is it used to dissconnect a circuit? CHECK PLUG OR MAGNETO I HAD SAME PROBLEM how do you know you have no spark?, how did you test for spark? why would you disconnect the kill switch. did you try a new plug? did you try taking the plug out, keeping it hooked to the plug wire and seeing if theres a spark by grounding it to the motor while you turn it over? follow the problem backwards, check plug, then check wire, maybey the coil is bad. then check the pos+ lead the goes to the coil the kill switch might do the same as pressing it when you dissconnect it. so it might have not been the problem but is now. kill switch must be connected to get a spark or you will cut of the electric supply. kill switch is probably faulty need to replace it. |
