parents will be home dads a policeman ...my golden rule is u have to be 16 to date what do u think is this a date and or am i just being old fashion post some age close to what u may be please lost good mom here ty I don't have children but my mom didn't allow me to date until I was 16. This was a GOOD THING!!! I believe that when you date you are looking for your future partner at 13 you don't know enough about yourself or about what you would need to make that kind of decision. On top of that the earlier you let your child dates statistically speaking the earlier they'll have sex. It's a dangerous thing to do especially in our society. You have to fight a battle about weather you want to be a good friend or a good mom, I'm sure she has enough friends! She might hate you now but she'll thank you in the future. I was a nightmare at 13 hoping your daughters not as bad as I was!! let her go have fun...maybe contact the "boyfriends" parents and see if another one of your daughter's friends can tag along... its just for fun lighten up... what are they going to do they are 13? i would say you can only go if i can go with and still keep the golden rule He plans on rideing more than a dirt bike Stick to your rules. 13 is too young to date under any situations. If you break them once, then you will be badgered every time till you do it again. For the record, I dated a 14yo preachers daughter when i was 15. Don't ask what happened.
